Mihlar & Riyaz
A Journey Spanning Nearly Two Decades
Mihlar — The Master
Mihlar’s spiritual journey began with a persistent inner question that emerged when he was twenty-eight. He became increasingly concerned by the distance between outward religious observance and genuine inner transformation. He questioned whether inherited beliefs, rituals and rules could truly lead to a deeper understanding of the self, the Divine and existence.
This began an intense personal search into religion, spirituality, consciousness and the human mind. Rather than accepting established explanations, he explored them through research, reflection, observation and conversations with people from different backgrounds.
By the age of thirty-five, Mihlar had undergone a profound transformation in consciousness and gained a direct understanding of what he describes as universal wisdom. Spirituality became, for him, something to be experienced directly rather than simply studied or inherited.
In 2007, at the age of thirty-nine, he resigned from a senior executive position to devote himself fully to research, travel, spiritual inquiry and the study of human consciousness.
Over more than three decades, his work has been shaped by extensive observation, research and lived experience. The ideas presented in The Demise of Sharia Law in the Western World by 2036 represent the culmination of this lifelong search and his desire to encourage readers to question inherited certainty, examine religious authority and explore their own journey towards truth.
Riyaz — The Disciple and Co -Author
Riyaz’s spiritual journey began in 2007 when he first met Mr Mihlar. This meeting marked a significant turning point in his life and introduced him to a different way of examining religion, belief, consciousness and human experience.
Through his relationship with Mihlar, Riyaz began a Master–Disciple journey centred on observation, reflection and personal development. His spiritual exploration remained closely connected to ordinary life rather than being separated from it.
During this period, Riyaz continued working as a Store Manager at Tesco Express, where his daily interactions brought him into contact with people from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life. These experiences became an important part of his observation of human behaviour, belief and relationships.
His journey encouraged him to examine the difference between inherited beliefs and direct understanding. He became increasingly interested in awareness, self-knowledge and the role of personal experience in genuine transformation.
Riyaz’s contribution to The Demise of Sharia Law in the Western World by 2036 reflects this combination of lived experience, observation and spiritual inquiry. Together with Mr Mihlar, his twenty-year journey has helped shape the book’s exploration of religion, society, consciousness and the search for deeper truth.
