About the Book
A Journey Beyond Law, into Consciousness and the Self
The Demise of Sharia Law in the Western World by 2036 examines the historical development of Sharia and questions the elevation of human jurisprudence into unquestionable divine authority.
The book then turns from outward law to the inner world, exploring chakras, the conditioned mind, meditation, Sufism, consciousness and death. Through this two-part journey, Mihlar & Riyaz invite readers to reconsider the difference between inherited religious knowledge and directly experienced spiritual truth.
About the Authors
Mihlar & Riyaz
The ideas presented in this book emerged from nearly twenty years of shared inquiry between a master and disciple, supported by more than thirty years of Mihlar’s spiritual experience.
Mihlar’s search began with a persistent inner question and eventually led him to leave a senior executive career in 2007. That same year, Riyaz met Mihlar and began a spiritual journey that continued alongside his working life, allowing him to observe people from many cultures and walks of life.
Together, their research, reflection and lived experience shaped this examination of religious authority, consciousness and spiritual transformation.
An Invitation to Question
This book does not ask readers to replace one unquestionable belief with another. It invites them to investigate. Readers may agree with its conclusions, disagree with them or challenge them. The authors ask only that its questions be approached with openness, sincerity and intellectual courage
The demise of Sharia law in the Western world would not represent the demise of Islam, personal faith or spirituality. It would represent the rejection of religious coercion and an opportunity to rediscover spirituality through freedom, awareness, inner transformation and direct experience of the Divine.
